My favirorite God is Athena [Goddess of Wisdom] she is the favorite child of Zeus.Athena wasn’t always in Zeus’ head when she was young Zeus feared that his kids would try to over throw him as king, so he swallowed Athena and for years she caused great pain inside his head.When Zeus’ wife Hera [protector of marrige],got mad at him for cheating she tried to kill him when she did that, Athena sprang from Zeus’ head fully armed.Athena was also the Goddess of war,she representeed the intellectual and civilized side of war.She was not much of a fighter but more of a wise and prudent advisor.Athena was very fond of a city in Greece,her uncle Poisiden was very fond of this city they both decided if one could give the finest gift they shall have it.Then Poisiden struck a side of a mountain and spring welled up the people marvled,though the water was very salty,from Poisiden’s sea so it was not very usefull.Athena gave the people a olive tree, ofcourese it was better it gave people food.Therefor Athena won the city ans she named it Athens.
